Since 1933, Bootjack Campground has welcomed travelers seeking a quieter kind of California experience. Perched on a gentle slope in the coastal hills above Mill Valley, our ninety acres of mature pines and Douglas firs provide a canopy of shade and silence that feels worlds away — even though downtown San Francisco is only a short drive away.
What began as a modest stopover for road-trippers has grown into one of the Bay Area's most cherished camping destinations. We don't chase trends or upgrade for the sake of novelty. What we offer is honest: well-maintained sites, friendly faces at the office, clean facilities, and the kind of starlit evenings you remember for years.
